A busy couple of weeks not only renovating an en-suite and main bathroom at home but also carrying out repairs and construction of bespoke items in the workshop.
- Repair to an antique dining chair
- Construction of a kitchen unit to act as a raised platform for an under counter fridge to make it more accessible
- Exterior box to cover pipework to outside of clients property
In todays world it is more important than ever to fix and mend rather than throw away.

A great request to start the year and a pleasure to work on.
Job Description : To construct a pet ramp for an elderly chihuahua called Poppy so that she can get onto her owners bed. Allowance had to be made for wheelchair access in and out of the bedroom with the unit light enough to manoeuvre
Result : A lightweight ply ramp finished with vehicle interior carpeting to soften the ramp and allow Poppy to grip.
February and March 2025
Not a lot of action in the workshop as I have been busy with Garden Designs and Landscaping projects in Sudbury, Upminster, Chelmsford and Silver End.
Aswell as the designing and landscaping I have managed to fit in some decorating and a small job installing a Sheilair for a lovely couple who run Pilgrims B&B in Little Baddow.
Its always the way, the smallest jobs can often be the most challenging. The Sheilair install was challenging but we got there in the end.
If you enjoy the peace and beauty of a conservation area with Papermill Lock and Tearooms just a stones throw away. With plenty of countryside and woodland walks followed by a great restuarant or pub then check out Pilgrims B&B in Little Baddow. A self contained barn conversion with private bathroom and kitchen is on offer for reasonable rates with great hosts.
